The folder is split in half.
A mixture of water and glue is prepared as adhesive.
Sheets are glued together, clamped, and left to dry for 24 hours.
The pieces are assembled and secured using adhesive.
The cut pieces are sanded for a clean finish
The sheets are precisely cut using a laser cutting machine.

Windmills have a deep cultural importance for the citizens of the Netherlands. Windmills helped drain water from the land, saving it from floods and powered essential tasks like milling and woodworking, showing Dutch innovation.

This Intervention transforms the folders which had the old branding of the Embassy into experiential products showcasing Dutch creativity . Each meticulously crafted calendar, rich in meaning, becomes a vessel that measures time while encapsulating heritage and innovation. The design and function echo the Dutch spirit of adaptability and resourcefulness. Inviting users to immerse themselves in a journey through time and tradition.
The calendar Displays the date, day, and the month.
The 12-sided base represents the 12 provinces of the Netherlands, with each side labeled to tell the user about these provinces.
A frame in the shape of a windmill blade sits in front of the three rotating dials.
There is no mention of the year, so it works as a timeless, evergreen calendar

( Exhibition - Waste to wonder )
The project was showcased and recognized at the Waste to Wonder exhibition held at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

In its final stage, the project moved into production, allowing the design to be brought to life through refined materials, processes, and execution.
